Inky's One Great Idea

The Philadelphia Inquirer has been running a series of essays called "One Great Idea," which presents an idea from a series of local luminaries. These essays are also available in visual form on the Inky's website (http://www.philly.com/philly/news/112982349.html?c=r).

The latest effort is from Tom Kaiden, president of the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance. His suggestion is that we have an Arts stimulus. This wouldn't be government funding but encouraging everyone to go to one more theatrical or musical performance, or buy one more painting, or some other cultural event. He recounts a tradition in his family of going to see a play at Thanksgiving.
